Shanghai Sharks 85 – Guangdong Tigers 101: Singleton Stars As Ruthless Guangdong Rout Sharks

Despite the noise from packed Yuanshen Gymnasium and a frisky first-half performance, the Shanghai Sharks couldn’t pull off an upset victory against the Guangdong Tigers. With Mike Harris out of the line up due to family reasons, the Sharks needed maximum focus from their remaining squad but after a solid start, Shanghai condemned themselves to another defeat after a poor third quarter allowed the Tigers take control before going on to win by the resounding margin of 101-85. Scouting Report: Guangdong Tigers

Uh-oh. The Guangdong Tigers are in town and they sure mean business. The defending champions since the 2007-2008 season (!), are arriving in the Yuanshen on a six game winning streak overall (!), are averaging 103ppg away from home(!) and are on a three game winning streak on the road having put on 41 points in the fourth quarter to dispose of Tianjin in the previous game (!).
