The Shanghai Sharks have finished their stint in Australia taking on teams from the host country and Singapore. With the CBA season still a month away the tournament in Oz represented a chance for Sharks to get in some fine tuning as well as trying out new ideas, plays and players. Results from the tournament in Australia are listed below:
9/26: Shanghai Sharks 71- Guangsha Lions 60 (Elijah Milsapp 21pts)
9/27: Shanghai Sharks 49 – Singapore Slingers 37 (Millsap 13pts, 17rbs; Zhang Zhaoxu 8pts, 9rbs, 5bks.
9/28: Shanghai Sharks 37 – Perth Wildcats 71 (Millsap 14pts; Zhang Yuan 6pts)
Shanghai still has another trip abroad, this time to Taiwan for the annual Straits tournament between sides from China and Taiwan which starts on October 12th. Another set of local games will probably be organised in addition to this just before the start of the CBA in November.
