After a surprising amount of silence, Marcus Landry has finally reappeared following the end of his tenure in Shanghai. The former New York Knick forward has signed with Venezuelan club, Bucaneros de La Guaira in the country’s Liga Profesional de Baloncesto (LPB).

Landry, who arrived midseason following the injury to Ryan Forehan Kelly on New Years Day put up solid numbers (20.6ppg, 5.4rpg) during his seventeen games for the Sharks. He arrives midway through the LBP season with his new side currently sitting on a 14-13 record. As this story is a couple of days old, Landry has already played one LPB game, putting up 17 points in 34 minutes as Guaira lost 86-76 to Marinos de Anzoategui.
